OKFishppl.info is a community for both experienced aquarists/pond keepers and those just beginning the rewarding journey. Here you can discuss all things aquatic. You will find fun and helpful forums on care, breeding, setting up tanks, health issues, growing aquatic plants and more. Our goal is to develop and maintain a community where everyone can have fun and share information about caring for our fish and aquatic creatures. Member Behavior
The tone of your posts should be civil, polite and helpful.

Please stay on topic in the threads you respond to.

Verbal harassment/flaming is not permitted. It's ok to disagree, but please do so respectfully. Here we have only our words and some emoticons to communicate with, so it's easy for miscommunication to happen. Try to give the benefit of the doubt if something offends you (e.g. ask for clarification). If you have issues with another member, please try and resolve the issue via private messages. If the problem can not be resolved, please bring it to the attention of a moderator or administrator.

You agree that you will not post any knowingly false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, or threatening message, or any containing a personal attack against another member. You agree you will not post material that is invasive of another person's privacy.

You agree not to post any other person's copyrighted material unless you have obtained their permission to do so and post a link back to the original work.

Posts on politics, religion, and similarly contentious topics not related to fish keeping are strongly discouraged.

Please do not post the same question or message more than once. Over 98% of questions posted here receive replies (if the past is any indication). Be sure you've chosen a fitting forum for your query and be patient.

Moderators are not only forum guides; they are also the final arbiters of what constitutes a violation of the rules. As forum policy is not material for public debate, please privately take up any issues you might have with the Rules and Terms with the moderators or site adminstrator.

Usernames: Please exercise common sense and good faith in choosing your member name. User names may not contain an User names which are identical to or in our sole judgment confusingly similar to a trademark or service mark in which the registrant has no rights will be deleted. Newly registered usernames which contain an email address, profanity or other inappropriate remarks, or which are substantially similar to an existing member name and which in our sole judgment could confuse a reasonable person as to the screen identity of the member must be changed if we so request. If in our judgment the intent of registering such a confusingly similar name is to deceive the membership-at-large, the registration will be deleted.
