Mini Paradise

I got this 5.5 tank free from Beverly in Lawton (she had mysteriously disappeared). This will be a setup for that one fancy top-quality Betta. I was to receive a baby of the adult male that I wanted so much, but Beverly is gone. There will be a Zebra Apple Snail or two.

^^^ When I went to Walmart, I was planning to get green gravel. There was none. Between natural and black, I decided on natural. The palm trees was a gift from my favorite aunt for Christmas. Originally, she got it for the x100, but after a while, I wanted the x100 to be as real and natural as possible. So, it has been out of water for months and now finally will be using it again.

^^^ Lucky bamboo plants in the front. The plan is to add a driftwood or two along with real small plants. I may buy those bulbs at Walmart or PetSmart, or buy some already grown...maybe both. A couple of natural stones here and there.

The filter is an AquaTech 5-15. I am sure this is plenty and minimal on the flow.

A couple months ago, I got two small heaters at an auction. I will use one of them.

I did find the glass hoods at PETCO, but there is a problem... It is a hairline too long. I need to have it slightly cut to fit.

I am searching for a twin-tube 16" strip light, but I can only find such size to have one light. I want two tubes, because I am planning to grow plants. Most likely will not find one, so maybe just end up with one tube and hope it will be enough.

Nice setup..borrow a dremel tool and shave the edge off of your glass. It worked for me.
